Whole Lotta Learnin’ Goin’ On!

Our PreK 4, Kindergarten, and First Grade students marked the 50th day of school with a special “50’s Day” celebration. Activities centering on the number 50 and this fabulous decade were the focus. Our students counted, investigated, wrote, danced and hula hooped their way through this exciting day. They met at The Thecla Diner to enjoy the special of the day – Coke floats! There was a “whole lotta shakin’ goin’ on” following this special treat when the students went “to the hop” and enjoyed music from the 50’s as they showed off their hula hoop and dancing skills. Rock ‘n roll and fun at school are here to stay!
