Q: How much is tuition?
A: Tuition for the 2009-2010 School Year is:
1 child (K-8): $4166
2 children (K-8): $6583
3 children (K-8): $7457
4 children (K-8): $8125
Pre-K3 (5 mornings/week): $1834*
Pre-K4 (5 mornings/week): $1834* with optional full-day program at additional cost of $55/week
*Preschool tuition is discounted for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th children in a family. Please contact the School Office for more information.

Q: What are the school hours?
A: The school hours for the 2009-2010 school year will be:
K thru 8th : 8:00 am to 2:30 pm
Pre-K3: M thru F, 8:00 am to 11:30 am
Pre-K4: M thru F 8:00 am to 11:30 am (optional full-day program available)

Q: Is there before and/or after school care available?
A: Before-school care is available starting at 7:15 am. After-school care is available until 6:00 pm.

Q: What are the class sizes?
A: Pre-K4 is capped at 24 children
Kindergarten thru 3rd grade is capped at 26 children per class
4th thru 8th grade is capped at 35 children per class

Q: What extracurricular activities are available?
A: There are many extracurricular activities available to St. Thecla Students. Please note that many of the activities have additional fees.

Q: Is there a hot lunch program?
A: Yes. A menu is sent home monthly and you have a choice of two different options. Milk may be purchased independently. The cost for 2008-2009 school year is $2.65 per day for meal with milk. Milk alone is $.35 per day.

Q: When can my child wear shorts to school?
A: Uniform shorts may be worn to school between May 1st and October 31st

Q: Are there volunteering requirements?
A: Families with students in K thru 8 are expected to earn 40 hours per school year at TRP designated events. Families with only pre-schoolers are expected to earn 10 hours per school year. Families may opt to pay $25.00 per hour in lieu of working; however, all are encouraged to be active in our parish and school community. Q: Are there any mandatory fundraisers?
A: Each family is expected to purchase $2500 worth of “gift” certificates per year. These are available for purchase between June and May 15th in any amounts that will total $2500. There is a buyout option of $250.00 available for this program. Additionally, each family is required to sell or purchase Grand Raffle tickets. The quantity is set by the School Advisory Council each year. For the 2009-2010 school year the requirement is for each family to sell/purchase $300 worth of tickets.
